Raised in the mid 1730's on a bluff overlooking the James River by William Randolph, Tuckahoe is thought to be the most complete plantation layout dating from the early 18th century. The numerous outbuildings located on the property include the smokehouse, workers quarters, stables, kitchen, schoolhouse, and an overseer's office. From 1745 to 1752, Tuckahoe was the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson. His family located to Tuckahoe to care for the orphaned children of William Randolph who died in 1745. The schoolhouse is said to be the first that Thomas Jefferson attended. The property has garden gates that lead you down it's own Ghost Walk through old boxwoods to the rambling gardens.

Join the Haunted Nights Crew as we welcome our special guests Chris Smith and Mike G from the Wraith Chasers as they make their first ever visit aboard the historic Battleship USS Wisconsin for a night of History and Haunts. The USS Wisconsin first set sail on the 2nd anniversary of the raid of Pearl Harbor. During her career, Wisconsin served in the Pacific Theater of World War II, where she shelled Japanese fortifications and screened United States aircraft carriers as they conducted air raids against enemy positions. During the Korean War, Wisconsin shelled North Korean targets in support of United Nations and South Korean ground operations, after which she was decommissioned. She was reactivated on 1 August 1986. After a modernization program, she participated in Operation Desert Storm in January and February 1991. The Wisconsin was last decommissioned in September 1991 after a total of 14 years of active service in the fleet, and having earned a total of six battle stars for service in World War II and Korea, as well as a Navy Unit Commendation for service during the January/February 1991 Gulf War. The ship currently functions as a museum operated by Nauticus, The National Maritime Center in Norfolk, Virginia. The USS Wisconsin was stricken from the Naval Vessel Register 17 March 2006, and was donated for permanent use as a museum ship. On 15 April 2010, the City of Norfolk officially took over ownership of the ship.
This will be another first time location investigation for the Wraith Chasers so you definitely want to be a part of this special evening!!! Light snacks and drinks will be provided!!!
It's been almost 2 years since Chris Smith and Mike G of The Wraith Chasers have been back to one of their favorite locations, St Albans Sanatorium. Join the Haunted Nights Crew as we welcome them back for a night of investigating at Virginia's most Haunted Location!!! St Albans came to life in 1892 as a Lutheran boys' school. The school closed in 1911 and reopened in 1916 as an institution to treat the mentally ill. This close to 130 year old abandoned mental hospital has stories of dark phantoms, apparitions and all sorts of crazy things that have happened over the years since it closed it's doors to the public. Members of the Wraith Chasers and the Haunted Nights Crew have experienced many unexplained occurrences within the walls of this very large facility, so we want to take you along with us as we continue our exploration into things that dwell within that realm of the unknown.
